Abu Hurayrah (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying

A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

"And let there be from you a nation inviting to good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful"

Alhamdulillah! We at Darul Atfaal are extremely excited to be starting a brand new project for teenage boys and girls who have been through the traditional ‘Maktab’ system or have gained a substantial amount of Islamic Knowledge. The apprenticeship programme is an exciting initiative that will run for a minimum period of 2 years. Applicants will be interviewed to see they are equipped with sound basic knowledge in Qur’anic and Islamic Studies. Applicant will be expected to present themselves as mature, modest, determined and disciplined individuals .

Time management and commitment will be essential, whilst advanced knowledge and previous experience of working with children, whether it be a paid or voluntary role, will be desirable.

Darul Atfaal will offer its services in the form of trainings, shadowing, assisting teachers etc. During the apprenticeship period, it may be so where applicants may be asked to render tasks off sight.

The objective of this is to empower young adults with essential and useful life skills and granting opportunities to lay a strong foundation in teaching in a healthy, professional and enjoyable environment.
